This is a picture of little Marlene from Final Fantasy VII enjoying the New Years! This picture was done for the
 club New Years contest. [link]When I was drawing this I kept thinking that it needed alot of bold colors. Well since my last attempt at using them I stored my Prismacolor Markers away. Well I decided to try them again. They are really hard to learn and get the hang of I must say. If you can't tell where I went out of the lines and stuff. I still can't figure out how to shade with or add depth to anything with them. Anyways, Enjoy! Done with 4H pencil,micron pen, Primsacolor markers and Prismacolor colored pencils(hair and face). Marlene belongs to Square Enix. |

i would suggest you,about the colouring,to try do some simple drawings-coloured with "flat colours"(i mean,no shading
i also have some tips i use with markers X3
try to divide the areas of the drawing with the pencil and colour the different areas with different shades...
